I must admit that this year's election took a toll on me. 

I was totally consumed with months and months of the race that has left me filled with anxiety.

Now I'm unable to work after the devastating outcome of the election.

I hope to overcome my sadness by working on this series to find some comfort.

Quite interesting, I love this rather chaos approach.

I'm so happy and thankful to be back at my easel. I'm all better now. I suffered with excruciating pain in both hands. Finally I was diagnosed with Carpal tunnel syndrome. I now have braces on both wrists. Last week I visited my physician and was given a Flu shot and pneumonia shot, both in the same arm! I will never do that again FOR SURE!!! Big mistake! My arm swollen up as big as a watermelon. Then I came down with flu-like symptoms. I was sick as a dog all weekend!

Returned to linen surface today. 

I love how my paint take to the fine weave of this portrait grade cloth.

This allow me to stay quite loose with my brush work. What joy!
