Developed the theme of the painting a bit today.
I worked in some background elements.
Pushed values and colors to strengthen the picture.
Add objects flowers, coffee cup and of course the pup.
I'll work on paint quality and other detail next.

I must admit that this year's election took a toll on me.
I was totally consumed with months and months of the race that has left me filled with anxiety.
Now I'm unable to work after the devastating outcome of the election.
I hope to overcome my sadness by working on this series to find some comfort.
